Those of us who have ever been part of a group trying to design a law firm website should check out a wonderful new law firm website launched to coincide with a book by the great law firm blogger Jeremy Blachman – not a familiar name? Well he does have a straight blog, but you'll likely know him better as the author of the satirical Anonymous Lawyer, the popular blog that mocks large-law firm life.

I particularly liked the Blog's take on The Meaning of Life, and the wonderful law firm biographies, which hit too close to the bone.

And yes, Blachman has parlayed a blog into a book, and fame and fortune

Simon Chester's involvement with legal information goes back to the Seventies when he taught legal research at Osgoode Hall and served on CLIC's board - that was the Canadian Law Information Council. He has practiced law on Bay Street for almost thirty years and speaks and writes widely on legal, technology, ethical and professional issues.

There is a nice NYT piece on the phenomenon of bloggers cashing in reprinted at http://www.financialexpress.com/fe_full_story.php?content_id=128668

  2. Administrator says:

This is a test. Yet another test to ignore.

  3. Simon C says:

How can we ignore tests, when as Woody Allen says half the key to success in life (and possibly in exams) is simply showing up.

Whenever a professor says this is a test, but it won't count, I get suspicious.
