Case law and current legislation is frankly pretty easy to get, and any new entry into this marketplace is going to have to struggle against the ubiquity of its competition. One way a new entrant can make a splash is by providing analysis - annotation of stats and regs, case comments. Lawyers (especially young lawyers) really value having a guide into a new area of law, and the more experienced ones can benefit from and advance scout pointing out a change in the legal environment.
