Slaw Makes the ABA's Top 100 List

At this moment in time I'm delighted to report an honour that's fairly unique: Slaw made the ABA's list. With all due respect to Simon and my other friends,
at the end of the day, it's absolutely not rocket science what Slaw does.
It's a 24/7 nightmare but we shouldn't of underestimated the readership.

Slaw

Moderated by Simon Fodden, professor emeritus at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Slaw was start­ed largely for the legal research and IT community in Canada, but it may soon transcend its tech designa­tion. The name Slaw was chosen in deference to Salon and Slate and “the notion that a cooperative weblog with many contributors is bound to consist of a great many (nutritious) small pieces in rather a jumble.” Despite its Canadian emphasis, Slaw’s topics are techno­-logi­cally universal and insightful.

Simon Chester's involvement with legal information goes back to the Seventies when he taught legal research at Osgoode Hall and served on CLIC's board - that was the Canadian Law Information Council. He has practiced law on Bay Street for almost thirty years and speaks and writes widely on legal, technology, ethical and professional issues.

    Congratulations to the regular contributors who provide the nutritious small (and sometimes larger) pieces that we all enjoy, and that the ABA reviewers found tasty too. Slaw is a treat. Thanks.
