I agree totally with what you say, I am a law student going to college on line. All my work is done on the internet and sent through a special web site to the University. I love it, I am studying extremely hard with a 4.0 grade average and most of my expensive law books are e-books on line where I can read them anytime and not have to purchase them. It makes it easier for me to be ablr to go to college otherwise I wouldn't be able to afford it. But I am learning in my classes how to electronically do forme and documents for the court on the computer. So I really understand what you are saying, we are in a electronic world and are children are learning on the computer at a very young age. So why not make the rest of the world ready for them and that includes the legal profession.

I agree completely. This applies to solicitor's work as well. Far too often a lawyer's first instinct when getting anything electronic is to print it. To some extent lawyers are risk averse, and that means we cling to old comfortable ways. As a profession, we need to stop every time we go to print something and ask if it is really necesssary.
