About Colin Lachance

Colin is the President and CEO of the Canadian Legal Information Institute (CanLII), a role he’s held since 2011. First called to the bar in 1998 (Alberta) and then again in 2004 (Ontario), Colin has a professional background in senior legal, policy, business and government relations roles in the telecommunications industry. An average and unimpressive student in all his schooling, he added an LL.M. in 2013 to the degrees in business and law obtained in the bloom of youth.
