About Sarah A. Sutherland

Sarah A. Sutherland is the director of programs and partnerships at CanLII. She works on advancing CanLII’s strategic priorities of providing access to law, identifying ways to close legal information gaps across Canada, and building a collection of open access commentary. She is interested in developing a community vision on how to use legal information and technological solutions in ways that leverage emerging opportunities to build useful tools and improve the ways people work. She is writing a book that will be published in 2021 on legal data.
