About CBA COVID-19 Task Force

The Canadian Bar Association launched its Task Force on Justice Issues Arising from COVID-19 in April 2020 to assess the immediate and evolving issues for the delivery of legal services resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. The task force, co-chaired by CBA President Brad Regehr and former president Vivene Salmon, draws together thought leaders from across the justice system.

After months of fact finding, consultations and research, the Task Force will release its report in Feb 2020. The recommendations will focus on how courts, tribunals and other dispute resolution bodies can adapt to meet the needs of those seeking justice, both during and after the pandemic.
