About Ruth Bird

Ruth Bird was the Bodleian Law Librarian at the University of Oxford. She worked in law firm and academic libraries for over thirty years, in two countries, moving from the modern antipodes for the more traditional old world. She now works as a project manager for the elibrary Myanmar project, working with several academic libraries. (www.eifl.org).
