About Mitch Kowalski

Mitch is an innovative thinker, writer, speaker and lawyer. He is the author of the critically acclaimed books, The Great Legal Reformation: Notes from the Field, and Avoiding Extinction: Reimagining Legal Services for the 21st Century. He speaks consults and speaks regularly on legal service innovation. He is the Gowling WLG Visiting Professor in Legal Innovation at University of Calgary law School, he was selected as one of the Fastcase Top 50 Global Legal Innovators in 2012, and in 2019 he was elected as a Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management.
