Robert Richards, JD, MSLIS, MA, is a Ph.D. student in the University of Washington Department of Communication. He studies legal information and communication systems, and particularly nonlawyers’ understanding of law and participation in lawmaking. As well as holding other online roles, he is editor in chief of the VoxPopuLII blog, published by the Legal Information Institute at Cornell University Law School.
