Information Seminars in Toronto of Interest to SLAWyers

I apologize that this post is focused on Toronto-based readers of SLAW, but I thought some of you might be interested in the various seminars being put on by the Faculty of Information Studies from time to time. Their upcoming seminar sounds interesting:

"Weblogs & Libraries: Communication, Conversation and the Blog People"

Ted Tjaden has been a lawyer for over 20 years during which time he also obtained his Master of Information and Master of Laws degree from the University of Toronto. He is currently immersed in various Knowledge Management projects.

    Thanks, Ted. I hadn't seen this. I did attend Michael Stephen's lecture and met him afterward. He was presenting work he has been doing on his PhD thesis, notably the results from a survey of blogging librarians he conducted in November 2005. It was interesting to see the results since I remember taking the survey, and to speak with him about some work I have been doing in this area. I hope to write a bit about this lecture shortly.
