Slaw Wins Lawford Award

More on this later… I'm blogging from the CALL conference. I'd simply like to say thank-you to all of you who've contributed to Slaw over the years and have made this honour possible.

Simon Fodden is the founder of Slaw. He taught law at Osgoode Hall Law School for more than 30 years before he retired to focus on writing, publishing, and IT and law.

    The larger implications of this award are quite interesting. A blog winning a legal publishing award shows that this model is mainstream now (IMHO). This feeds nicely into the discussions here earlier about proliferation of journals and the challenges of info literacy.
