Supreme Court Law Review Missing

Here’s a thing: LexisNexis/Butterworths (Canada), which publish The Supreme Court Law Review, not too shabby a journal, have absolutely no information whatever about it on their website(s). Zero. Nada. Zilch.

After half an hour of frustration I went retro and phoned LexisNexis. Their customer rep spent another fifteen minutes searching — by now I was pruriently curious — asked her nearby website expert, and reported that there was nothing about it on the site. Rien du tout.

I’d be happy to be proven wrong.

  1. Actually I just spent a part of my afternoon doing the exact same thing and reached the same conclusion as you.

As a sidenote, yes, I am finally back.

  2. Does Lexis Canada have any other periodicals of that type? Annuals, with a library subscription base? It seems that the Lawyers’ Weekly, the Bottom Line and the Geist Privacy Newsletter are all they have.

  3. And Lawyers’ Weekly, the Bottom Line and the Ontario Reports all have separate pages outside of the catalogue from their main publications page. They do have a number of other newsletters (often called “Review” or “Law Review”) but nothing quite so “academic”.

When I went to try this search myself, it looked like I had previously run a similar search as well. Simon, you have done everyone a service by posting this and confirming it still exists!

    Cheers,
    Connie
