About Michael Litchfield

Michael Litchfield is a management consultant, lawyer and educator and is the Managing Director of Emerald Engine Research Inc., an AI consultancy and research firm based in Victoria, BC. In addition to his private sector work, Michael holds a variety of academic appointments including the Director of the Business Law Clinic and the Associate Director of the Access to Justice Centre for Excellence at the University of Victoria, Faculty of Law.

Michael has a depth of experience consulting within the legal industry where he has worked with law firms, professional associations, regulatory bodies and educational institutions. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor from UBC, a Masters of Law from UVic and is currently a PhD Candidate at UVic.
