About John Willinsky

John is the Khosla Family Professor at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education. Prior to that and until 2007, he was the Pacific Press Professor of Literacy and Technology at the University of British Columbia (UBC). He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada and directs the Public Knowledge Project, in association with Simon Fraser University Libraries, which develops open source software systems for, as well as conducts research on, improving the scholarly and public quality of academic research.
