Beware, Election Bloggers
Rob Hyndman wrote yesterday about the illegality of posting election results tonight to any Canadian blogs. And in case you think no one is going to notice if you do slip in the odd comment, CBC’s Tod Maffin is specifically looking for such postings.
So, beware!
(Thanks, Rob.)

I put this comment on Rob’s blog too. The polls in BC close at an unbelievably early 7:00!
Yes, it looks like they are trying to minimize the amount of time between the polls close in the east and in the west. Our Ontario polls opened later than usual (9:30 am). I seem to recall in the past voting before I went to work in the morning. Ours are open to 9:30 pm, so there is precious little time for word to spread to B.C. before your polls close.
It’s a good thing we don’t have any *more* time zones!
Here on the East Coast, I voted at 8:30 on my way to work this morning and polls close tonight at 8:30pm. My question is, what if we post results that are incorrect to the blog, just to mess with their minds?
Dunno. Wanna try it and see?
Sure, I say that the Marijuanna, Canadian Action Party, Marxist-Leninist, and Animal Alliance parties all do well in early returns from the East; Canada goes right while moving to legalize Marijuanna and institute communism at the same time.
And Dief will be the Chief again
