Announcing CALL Blog 2006
For the first time, the annual CALL conference, this year in Edmonton May 7-10, will be blogged!
Taking a page from SLAW (and working with Connie and Steve), I’ve set up the collaborative CALL Blog 2006.
Here is a shot:
We are inviting anyone attending the conference to become a Conference Blogger – and we’ve already had one bite. We’re hoping to get a large enough group to have coverage of sessions, social events, Edmonton… and all without too much work for any one person. The blog is French ready, and French comments are welcome.
We also have a couple of ideas brewing: we hope to have a ‘Mystery Blogger’ – with a prize to the person who identifies him or her first, and a real live face-to-face of all the bloggers, over a beer if possible.
On the technical side, we’re hoping to be moblogging-ready, and I’d be interested in any comments on how the blog looks and works. Access to the blog will be mainly through the conference website, but any help spreading the word would be much appreciated.
