Speaking of Google, as I was in my prior post, a couple of sites 
are pointing to what seems to be the first outcropping of a new branch of Google, Google Health. The page shown in the photo below is available here; the link to the “tour” gave me a 404 error message.

Once again, an over hyped offering from Google. We already have webMD, Yahoo! Health and a myriad others. Will this really be anything new and different? Quite frankly, a lot of Google’s products are ho hum. Their PR machine, and apparently their Media Lackeys, do good work for them.
It is not quite clear from the bulleted list what the Google Health offering is, but is the “big cool company” proposing to host and manage my health data?
Ambition is great, innovation is amazing…Google seems to have become the new invincible and the All Mighty.
I think that Google is great but I also believe that if they put their nose in too many areas, they may be walking on egg shells and it may backfire! A few sufficiently large law suits can definitely paralyze the company and the larger you are, the harder you fall.
