A New LCO Blog

Last summer I spoke to Simon Fodden to see what he thought about my doing a blog on the Law Commission of Ontario website (oh, how so obvious the answer must have seemed!). He encouraged me to do it and offered me a chance to practice by posting on Slaw (“try it out, no obligation”). Of course, it wasn’t long before I received automatic emails telling me it was my day to post. I’ve enjoyed posting to Slaw, but now it’s time to fly out of the nest and post directly to the new LCO website. Thank you, Simon, for giving me the opportunity, and thanks to those who responded to my various questions about the use of technology at the LCO. The LCO blog will be all things LCO and mostly by me, but there will be “guest” bloggers, too, as we progress. Simon has kindly invited me to post on Slaw when I feel the need to expand my repertoire.

Welcome everyone to the LCO’s new website. As with all new sites, there are a few bugs to sort out and not everything is exactly as we’d like it. One reason for redesigning the website, was to extend our reach and we have added pages devoted to the public – we’ll will be adding a great deal more information about our consultation in our project relating to persons with disabilities, for example. Anyway, for now, see you on the LCO site! And comments welcome.

  1. It was a bit tricky, but I found your blog.

Any chance you’ll be putting an RSS feed on it?
