New Columnists, New Format Coming
In just over two weeks’ time we’ll be changing the design and layout of Slaw. It’s been three years since our last makeover, so we’re due to be visually freshened up.
But more exciting is the fact that we’ll be introducing many new columnists and giving them, well, a column of their own. We’ve sought out experts to write for you on a number of broad themes. You can expect a column a week on each of the following: the Practice of Law, Legal Technology, Outsourcing, Legal Marketing, Legal Information, Justice Issues, and Legal Publishing. As well, of course, our monthly column on e-Discovery will continue.
The great team of bloggers that is the heart of Slaw will keep informing, entertaining, and provoking you. And our new design should make it easy to find your way around their posts and the new columns, and to get everything in the format you want. If you have a special interest in some aspect or other of what we offer, the new structure should enable you to tailor a subscription to suit your exact need.
I’ll let you know by way of a blog post when we’re due for the changeover, so you can keep your fingers crossed for us that the switch-over happens without too many hitches.
It only remains for me to say “thank you” — for reading Slaw’s soon-to-be 6,000 posts and for writing nearly 8,000 comments on them. This is a grand conversation that we greatly enjoy and that we hope you do too. So stay with us as we get better… and better.
