Announcing SlawTips

We’re proud to announce that Slaw is launching a new, sister site: SlawTips. You can find it at — you guessed it: (If you guessed, no worries: that URL will get you to our tips as well.)

The notion is simplicity itself — which is kind of the idea. On SlawTips you’ll find brief, clear, useful nuggets of advice at the easy-going rate of one a day. In fact, it’s even simpler than that. You’ll get a tip about technology every Tuesday, a tip about research each Wednesday, and a tip about practice on Thursdays. That’s it. Small. Sensible. Smart. And aimed at the middle of the week, to avoid mad Mondays and frantic Fridays.

Best of all, we’ve got top talent crafting the tips, people you already know from Slaw. Dan Pinnington will look after tech. Shaunna Mireau will edit research. And to handle the practice tips we’ve got the duo of Dave Bilinsky and Laura Calloway.

You can sign up with email or RSS, and you can follow @SlawTips on Twitter. And of course, you can go to the website whenever you like to get the current tip and those from the past. Here on Slaw we’ll carry excerpts from the three most recent tips in our sidebar, just below the recent comments section. When you’re intrigued, just click to flip over to SlawTips.

Go have a look. Let us know what you think.
