LegalTech 2011

My firm sent a member to LegalTech in New York this year. I am a little (OK a lot) jealous, but with the wonders of the web I can get a feel for the conference buzz, even before my colleague returns.

One method for attending is registering for Virtual LegalTech. This would work well for those who need CLE credits.

There is also an “On Demand” option on the legaltech site which (after registering) plays a video of Mark Howitsons Keynote address.

For those of us unable, or unwilling to view video, a blog search of LegalTech will offer up gems like these posts:

My personal preference is to search Twitter with the #LTNY hashtag. Thanks to all attendees who tweet, especially those who live tweet from sessions or post a daily recap as in the examples below.

All this great info, and I didn’t have to wait at an airport!

  1. Shaunna – you should see whether you can come to Chicago for the 25th ABA TechShow from April 11-13, 2011 at the Chicago Hilton. I’m biased but I think you’ll get just as much out of it as the New York show – and the apres-show is much better.
