CALL/ACBD Website
As many of you are aware (and as Connie referred to last week) the CALL/ACBD conference is set to begin this weekend in Ottawa.

In preparation for the conference I want to draw your attention the CALL/ACBD Website, and more specifically the activities of the various committees and special interest groups of CALL/ACBD. Over the past year and a half, CALL/ACBD has embarked on an ambitious redesign and rethinking of how the organization is represented on the web. As part of that process, we have tried to flatten out the structure of maintaining the website. Currently, the chairs or other interested committee members are responsible for maintaining the content on their own pages and those pages are in the infancy stages of becoming a source for a wealth of information; reports, surveys etc. For example, if you visit the page for the Courthouse and Law Society Libraries SIG, you will see the results of survey taken in April and the info for the education session that the SIG will be sponsoring at the Conference. The conference will also be the first time that all of the editors of the CALL/ACBD website, will have an opportunity to put our heads together and plot out the future of the website. I am anticipating that the upcoming conference will be a launching pad to make the CALL/ACBD website a far more dynamic site where a wealth of information will be available to suit a variety of interests.
I hope to see some of you over the coming days!
