An Irish Blessing

May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
May the rains fall soft upon your fields
And until we meet again…
May God hold you in the palm of His hand

For everything related to this day, have a look at the St. Patrick’s Day website.

For a list of parades in your city, take a look at the Parades & Events page (sorry, those of you in Ottawa, yours was last weekend!).

Cheers,
Connie

  3. I managed to watch the Toronto St. Paddy’s Day parade yesterday from the warmth of a Yonge St. noodle house. That wind was strong and pretty darn cold! The men in kilts who were in the various drum and pipe bands sure proved their heartiness. There were a number of dedicated souls who sat out along the parade route. Some wisely bundled up in sleeping bags. Fortunately it was very sunny, so no rain or snow for the event. But lots of green everywhere. And I thought the Philippine youth band was particularly good. Gotta love our Canadian multicultural cities!
