A New Day for the Supreme Court
Thanks to my partner David Stratas for a tip-off concerning major changes to the SCC website announced today.
They include:
factums posted online
webcasts of oral argument, together with an archive of argument
a new policy on hyperlinking
This is a major step forward in public access to information concerning cases before the top court.
The first factum involved Michel Strecko v. Her Majesty the Queen, but the factums aren’t available.
Would it be churlish to ask for transcripts of oral argument for those of us without the time or patience to sit through a minute by minute argument when all I want is a single question and response (which I can skim through in a text)
